ABBA girls in Germany

The pictures below were taken at a very sad time. It was November 1982, so ABBA was about to break up. Frida and Agnetha were trying to look joyful for the photographers on their visit to Saarbrücken, Germany, though, and the photos came out to be quite good. They certainly lack the spontainety of ABBA good old days, but the pictures really worth a look.

Different roles

ABBA members can play different roles of those ones we are used to witness. Indeed, the Anni-Frid, Agnetha, Björn and Benny are very versatile artists. So let's see some of their different musical talents...

"Music is my life"

Frida plays the piano since she was a little girl. Once she told that reading and playing the piano used to be her main hobbies, when she was a child

In 1984, Frida proved her talent as a composer, when she wrote both the lyrics and the music for one of her most famous solo songs, Don't Do It

Just like her friend, Agnetha has the same talent - actually she composed a great amount of songs at the piano at a very young age

But I didn't know that Björn could play the piano until I saw this picture!

                        

And Benny can sing! 

He thinks his voice is horrible, but that's nonsense...

Anni-Frid and other flowers

Have you ever imagined a flower called Anni-Frid? Or even Frida? I guess Anni-Frid would definitely love it, as she has always seemed to be a great flower enthusiastic. Let's check it over...

More funny ABBA

Some time ago I did the posts Let's laugh, Let's laugh a little more and Let's laugh a little bit more with a lot of funny ABBA photos. I know this kind of pictures pleases ABBA fans, in general, and I confess it's not different with me!

Benny (talking to himself): "Be patient, Benny, be patient..." 

Frida: "WHAT?!"

Benny: "So when you're near me darling can't you hear me, S.O.S.!"

Björn: "Come on, Benny, let's shrink the belly for the picture!"

"Oh my, that's it! I will buy these glasses, they are perfect for my glasses collection!"

"Yeah, I love sunglasses, ANY PROBLEM?"

Benny: "You are the Dancing Queennnn, young and sweet only seventeennnnn!!!"

Agnetha (thinking): "God, Benny is singing too loud again..."

Benny: "Like an image passing by, my love, my life, in the mirror of your eyes, my love, my life..."

 

"Do you like my beautiful red nails?"

"What about my pink ones?"

"This is a gorgeous purple polish that suits incredibly well with my hair and makeup, don't you think?"

Just kidding, Frida, I also love painting my nails!

My favorite 1982

I don't really like pictures taken when ABBA was about to split up. The reason is the same that I've explained on my previous post, but, of course, it doesn't mean I can't see anything pleasant in any of them. The one below, in which the group members are looking a little relaxed, is one of those rare exceptions.

But we can surely relate this drastic change to her feelings towards her then recently divorce from Benny
