Because Valentine's Day is everyday

If you liked the post I made for Valentine's Day, you may also like this one with Benny and Frida's even rarer pictures. After all, if everyday is a Valentine's Day, everyday should also be a Benny and Frida's love celebration.

Notice it is not a James Bond movie, but a cigarette brand!

Most of ABBA fans may know this lovely picture...

... but what about this one, even better?!
They're looking so relaxed and amused here!

I like the way Benny was always bonded to Frida

Let's celebrate love!

Guess what?! This is Valentine's Day

To celebrate this, I'm bringing you some quite unusual Benny and Frida's pictures, in which this ABBA couple were enjoying a really good time together.

The couple in the early 1970s

Benny and Frida singing - and almost kissing each other - during a concert from ABBA 1977 Tour

Enjoying their free time in 1978
This one is specially lovely, although its size and quality aren't very good...

Even though they were close to their divorce at that time, they did seem really lovely here...
Thanks to Karine, from ABBA Joy, for this picture

This one was taken in late 1980... it's still a great memory, though

Coincidences

I have always thought ABBA members share many coincidences with each other. Both couples met - almost at the same time - in 1969, both Benny and Frida had two children - a boy and a girl - from previous relationships, both Frida and Agnetha had alrealdy met each other on a TV show before they met Benny and Björn, both guys didn't know to read or write music and both are musical geniuses, both of them got married for the second time with women with whom they are married till today... and so on. We may come across these and many other facts when we read their biographies or even when we collect their pictures. If you still have any doubt about it, just take a look at the pictures below and you'll know what I mean.

When I see the foursome here, for instance...

... I quickly remember them in this another photo
Notice that even ABBA members are in the same places

When I see Frida's dress here...

... I immediately remember Agnetha's in this another one

When I take a look at Frida's leg here...

... I remember the same joke in this picture...

... or in this another one
And even the same smile on Benny's face!

And when I got delighted with this lovely dance...

... I know I've already seen this another one!

Lycka

Anni-Frid Lyngstad recorded her first solo album, Frida, produced by Benny Andersson, her fiancé at that time, and Bengt Palmers, in 1971. Frida covered some great English and American songs for it, like the relaxing Suzanne (composed by Leonard Cohen & Owe Junsjö) and the deep En Ton Av Tystnad (Paul Simon & Owe Junsjö)My favorite track from that album is Lycka - or Happiness, in English -, composed by Benny & Björn, for which I made the tribute below.

Enjoy this magnific song with Frida's marvellous photos and snippets of videos.
