It's time to reflect about ourselves

When people think about Christmas, they often think about what they want to get as Christmas gifts, what they want to eat at Christmas dinner and even where they want to go for their Christmas trip. Christmas is everywhere, but almost never related to its truest and deepest meaning, that is Jesus Christ's birth, which implies to celebrate peace, happiness, friendship and, above all, love. It's not necessary to be a Christian to believe it nor to follow this path. We all should remember it and try keeping the spirit of Christmas not only on December 25th, but every single day of our lives.

So what do you think of celebrating this so much special holiday with Frida's Gläns Över Sjö och Strand (Star of Bethlehem, in English)...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone!

Endless love...

... is my love for Benny and Frida!

Enjoy more unusual pictures of them.

I don't know where this picture was taken, but, by Frida's hair, it's definitely from 1974

Playing during a photo shoot also in 1974

You give me love, you make me shine!

Benny is 65!

Lots of love, peace, health, happiness and prosperity are the greatest blessings I wish to the kind-hearted human being and talented musician who Benny Andersson is.

Dolls

I would have really liked to have an ABBA doll when I was a child, wouldn't you? Have a look at the following dolls, some of the coolest I've ever found on the internet.

ABBA dolls made and released by Matchbox in 1978

"The world's most successful pop group, captured here in miniature for fans to own. Agnetha, Anni-Frid, Benny and Björn all set to repeat their world wide music success, this time across the toy counter."
I'd like to have at least a Benny and a Frida!

Nowadays I'd like to have these four momijis
They're completely different from the usual dolls

What are they dancing?

Let's face it: neither Frida nor Anna were very skillful for dancing on stage. They did have a lot of fun there together - especially Frida, who used to be a little more cheerful while performing -, although, as a matter of fact, none of them were very... hmm... coordinate with it. But we cannot fail to recognize that their marvellous voices and dance movements, combined to Benny and Björn's amazing music, brought to ABBA performances what we call magic.

ABBA girls did some choreography lessons during the time of the band, as the one for Dancing Queen, which is one of their most famous. Can you imagine which song they did the move dances below for?

I guess it was Honey, Honey...

Have you seen this?

I don't know how many of you have already seen Benny's younger granddaughter, but, until yesterday, I had never seen a picture of her before. So you can imagine how delighted I was when I found out the photo below. Benny's granddaughter - whose name is Viola, according to a reader of my blog - is such a sweetie!
